RICE FLOUR PHIRNI RECIPE
During one RAMADAN i was thinking what to take to masjid....and was thinking of making some dessert...then i thought lets take RICE FLOUR PHIRNI..as it is super easy and sure shot recipe...with the best results confirmed..
So here is presenting the recipe of RICE FLOUR PHIRNI..
9 CUPS WHOLE MILK
5 TABLESPOON RICE FLOUR
1/2 CUP SUGAR
2 TBSPN OF ALMONDS
2 TBSPN OF CASHEWS
FEW DROPS OF KEWRA WATER
2 TBSPN OF GHEE
5 GREEN CARDAMOM
FEW DROPS OF YELLOW FOOD COLOR
SLICED ALMONDS & CASHEWS
IN A BIG POT BRING MILK TO BOIL...AND WHILE MILK BOILS TAKE 2 TBSPN GHEE IN A PAN ADD GREEN CARDAMOM AND ROAST RICE FLOUR TILL IT TURNS LIGHT GOLDEN AND BECOMES FRAGRANT.
ONCE MILK COMES TO BOIL ADD SUGAR AND ONCE SUGAR DISSOLVES ADD RICE FLOUR..KEEP STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY SO THAT NO LUMPS ARE FORMED AND THEN LET IT COOK ON LOW HEAT TILL THE MILK REDUCES...ADD DRY FRUITS..ADD YELLOW FOOD COLOR...
ONCE MILK REDUCES CLOSE THE FLAME..ADD KEWRA WATER..
WHEN PHIRNI COOLS DOWN TAKE OUT IN ANOTHER POT..DECORATE WITH SLICED ALMONDS AND CASHEWS.
